Kate spent the early part of her career doing research and evaluation of early childhood education programs in the U.S. She joined the Brookings Institution in 2011 as the Technical Lead for the Learning Metrics Task Force (LMTF), bringing together 1700 stakeholders in 108 countries to help get learning on the global Sustainable Development Goals agenda. She founded Unbounded Associates in 2018 to foster better collaboration between the “thinking” and “doing” in global education.

Lindsay Read has nearly 10 years of experience in international education and development. She is currently consulting with the Education Commission on their strategy to develop an international finance facility for education. Prior to this, she worked at the Center for Universal Education at the Brookings Institution and authored several high-impact reports on how data is used in the education sector. She has worked in Rwanda, Uganda and the Philippines.

Molly Blank has over 15 years of experience as a storyteller, advocate, author and educator. She has created unique and transformative content including videos, articles, and facilitation guides that are being used by varied audiences to expand the understanding of critical social issues in Sub-Saharan Africa, including education, youth, race and community. Her book How To Fix South Africa’s Schools: Lessons From Schools That Work was co-authored with Professor Jonathan Jansen of Stellenbosch University and addresses the crisis in education in South Africa and successful leadership strategies to improve schools.
